New York, N.Y. — Brian Struble has been named Art Director of the Bonnier Outdoor Group (which includes Outdoor Life and Field & Stream); it was announced today by Anthony Licata, Editorial Director, Bonnier Outdoor Group.
Struble joins Bonnier from a post as Design Director at Boston Magazine. There, he oversaw the magazine’s redesign and produced many impactful covers, including the “Shoe Cover” following the tragic Boston marathon bombing, which won the 2014 ASME for Cover of the Year.
Before Boston, Struble worked at Esquire and both the American and German editions of Vanity Fair after starting his career at American Vogue.
In this role, Struble will serve as primary Art Director for Outdoor Life and will also be involved in all of Bonnier Outdoor Group’s brands and projects.
“Brian is not only a terrific designer, but he also has very good experience working on digital content and branding projects across disciplines,” says Licata. “He will be a great help to Design Director Sean Johnston as Sean leads our art and design team into new digital opportunities.”
Struble’s first day at Bonnier will be July 6th.
