John Graney

Vice President, Integrated Sales

John Graney was named Bonnier Corp.’s Vice President, Integrated Sales in January 2014.

John is a 20-year industry veteran with a strong reputation in the media community for bringing marketers large-scale multimedia programs to reach their objectives. Prior to his current post, John served as Integrated Advertising Director for Time Inc.’s Southern Living from 2012.

John began his tenure with the company in 1997 as a sales representative for Field & Stream and Outdoor Life. He was promoted to Eastern Sales Director in 1998. After working with the group for three years, John worked for Hearst Magazines’ Country Living and also served as VP, Publisher of American Media’s Men’s Fitness. He returned to Bonnier in 2005 as Associate Publisher of the outdoor titles. In this role, John sold award-winning programs such as Field & Stream’s Heroes of Conservation, Field & Stream’s The Total Outdoorsman and Outdoor Life’s Top 25. He is also credited with the creation of the Outdoor Group digital network to expand Bonnier’s digital media offerings.

John began his career in advertising on the agency side, working at Young & Rubicam, before moving to print sales for Petersen Publishing’s Hot Rod and Car Craft magazines. John graduated from Pace University with a B.A. in communications. He lives in Garden City, New York, with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his girls, and is a competitive bagpiper, avid swimmer and golfer.
