Elizabeth Burnham Murphy was appointed Bonnier Corp.’s first Chief Marketing Officer on the corporate level in December 2013.

Liz joined Bonnier Corp.’s Field & Stream and Outdoor Life brands 16 years ago and has held several key positions within the company, including CMO and associate publisher of the Men’s Group. In this role, she oversaw the marketing, events, business development and integrated sales development for titles such as Popular Science, Popular Photography, Cycle World, Field & Stream and Outdoor Life. Under her leadership, the marketing unit earned 10 Integrated Marketing Awards from the Media Industry Newsletter, including being named MIN’s 2012 Marketing Team of the Year.

Liz has created new revenue opportunities for Bonnier Corp. brands through media extensions such as full-length television series and licensing opportunities, which include the launch of the Outdoor Life apparel line in Sears stores across the country. In 2013, she instituted a new corporate unit, Bonnier Corp. Custom Solutions, which supports the creation of custom content products and services for Bonnier Corp.’s clients and partners.

Liz has two young children and shares many Bonnier Corp. passions. An avid angler, shooter and amateur photographer, her favorite pursuits are connected to the outdoors and spending free time with family in New York’s Adirondack Mountains.
