Andy Leisner

Senior Vice President, Managing Director Bonnier Motorcycle Group

Andy Leisner is Senior Vice President, Managing Director of the Bonnier Motorcycle Group.

A lifelong motorcyclist and media-industry veteran, Andy has worked almost exclusively in motorcycling and media his entire career.

Andy began riding at age 6, racing amateur motocross as a child, road racing professionally in his teens, and then competing in National and World Championship competition. He got his start in publishing at a motorcycle-racing tabloid before becoming Western Advertising Manager at Cycle World. After stints as Vice President of AMA Pro Racing (the sanctioning body for professional motorcycle sport) and Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca (one of the most iconic racing facilities in the world), he returned to Cycle World (then owned by Hearst) as Publisher.

Andy played an integral part in Bonnier Corp.’s acquisition of Cycle World in 2011, as well as the strategic decision to then acquire the Source Interlink family of motorcycle brands to form the Bonnier Motorcycle Group, the world’s largest motorcycle-media company. With the addition of several start-up titles, the group now comprises 13 brands (including Motorcyclist, Dirt Rider, Hot Bike and Sport Rider) that deliver content across video, online, mobile, print, event and content-marketing channels.

Andy is a graduate of UCLA with a degree in economics. He lives in Laguna Niguel, California, and enjoys spending time with his family, including riding motorcycles with his wife, Dierdre, and their three children, Christian, Emma and Sabrina.
