June 5, 2019 (Irvine, CA) Bonnier has launched Cycle Volta, a new vertical centered around electric mobility; it was announced today by Andy Leisner, SVP Managing Director of the Bonnier Motorcycle Group.

Cycle Volta is a digital, video, and social media brand that will cover electric-assist bicycles, micromobility, and electric motorcycles. The brand will deliver social and video content that highlights all the freedom and fun that can be had on two e-wheels. Cycle Volta will also bring e-bike information to general audiences through its mainstream, content-syndication partners. Built for new consumers and experienced riders alike, everything about Volta is delivered with accessibility and fun in mind.

“We’re so excited to introduce audiences to the transportation benefits and adventures e-bikes and other two-wheeled electric products provide,” Leisner said. “Two-wheeled electric media will benefit from the rigorous, objective testing protocol and the quality of journalism the Bonnier Motorcycle Group puts into our other brands, so we are excited to bring this consumer information and entertainment to the growing electric-mobility and enthusiast market.”

Volta is Italian for “turn,” commonly used in poetry to describe a shift in thought or argument. The Bonnier team believes it perfectly sums up the changing world of transportation that they cover in-depth.

Bonnier Motorcycle Group features the most complete, authentic, and in-depth coverage for all facets of the two-wheeled marketplace. Bonnier Motorcycle Group consists of five premium brands, which include: Cycle World, Motorcyclist, Cycle Volta, Dirt Rider, and Motorcycle Cruiser.
