Winter Park, Fla. — Bonnier Corp. recently hired Jennifer Ceaser, formerly the deputy editor of the New York Post’s Travel and Home sections for the past eight years, as the new Travel Group editorial director, effective June 22. In Ceaser’s new role, she will oversee editorial for the brands Islands and Destination Weddings & Honeymoons, ultimately managing the continued integration of both teams and developing the best practices for sharing resources and talent across brands and all media channels.

“Jennifer’s travel IQ and experience creating timely, relevant content — thanks to her daily news experience — are exactly what we need,” said Shawn Bean, editorial director for Bonnier Corp.’s Active Interest Network. “Our travel brands must serve as cheat sheets for wanderlust, shrinking the gap between inspiration and action. Jennifer totally gets it, and she impressed everyone she met at Bonnier. We’re ready to get the future started with her.”

Prior to working at the Post, Ceaser was managing editor at Stuff, Gotham and Hamptons magazines. Her byline has appeared in Condé Nast Traveler UK, Yahoo Travel, Delta Sky and several other travel outlets. Her experience at a daily publication and track record of producing highly clickable content bring a wealth of value to the Bonnier Travel Group.

In addition to hiring Ceaser, Leidy Hurtado was brought to the Travel Group in early June as the newest member of the sales team. She was previously at Orbitz, and she spent several years handling the Caribbean as a senior product development manager at a local travel wholesaler. Hurtado is a native Spanish speaker and a highly respected participant in the professional Caribbean travel community.
