New York, N.Y. — Bonnier Corp., whose brands include Popular Science, Cycle World, Saveur and Field & Stream, has promoted Jeff Roberge to Detroit Advertising Director. In this newly created position, Roberge will now head up Bonnier’s entire portfolio of media brands in the Motor City. This move comes as Bonnier strengthens its commitment to the Detroit market.

Roberge, a 25-year veteran in the Detroit market, most recently managed the company’s outdoor and motorcycle brands as Detroit Sales Manager for the Men’s Group. In his new role, he will maintain these account responsibilities for the group. Since joining the brands in 2002, Roberge has earned praise for his positive relationships with client partners and agencies in the area.

“As a special-interest media company, the Detroit market remains an important advertising territory for Bonnier,” said Bonnier Executive Vice President Eric Zinczenko. “Jeff’s years in this market and his reputation for his client-centric advertising solutions make him perfect to lead our company in this new role.”

Early in his career, Roberge worked on the agency side with BBDO, and then as an advertising manager for Crain Communications, Meredith and Time. He has also served on the Adcraft PM board, a subgroup of the Adcraft Club of Detroit, and the Multimedia Representatives Association’s board and education and membership committees.

Working with Roberge in Bonnier’s Detroit office is Ed Bartley, Sales Manager for the Men’s Group and the Motorcycle Group. Joy Gariepy, the newest member of the team, has been hired as the Sales Representative for Saveur and Working Mother.

Bonnier Corp. is one of the largest consumer-publishing groups in the U.S. and is the leading media company serving passionate, highly engaged audiences, through magazines, events, digital media and leading-edge products.
