April 2, 2019—Peter MacGillivray has been named Vice President Off-Road and Motorsports Vertical Leader, Bonnier Corp., it was announced today by Jonathan Moore, Senior Vice President, Events. MacGillivray will oversee a portfolio that includes some of the industry’s most prominent brands, including Off-Road Expo, Sand Sports Super Show, 4Wheel Jamboree, Street Machine Nationals and Jeep Invasion.

“We are very excited to have Peter joining us at Bonnier Events,” Moore said. “Our off-road and motorsports portfolio is one of our strongest, and Peter will bring a wealth of knowledge, relationships and new ideas to help us build on our existing strengths. His experience in business development and automotive events will open new doors and create new opportunities for us.”

MacGillivray spent the past 17 years working as VP of Events and Business Development for the SEMA Show. During his tenure at SEMA, he launched several high-profile events, including SEMA Ignited, the SEMA Cruise, Battle of the Builders, and the SEMA Reveal. MacGillivray was also key in the launch of SEMA’s events globally.
