SKI Magazine Promotes Greg Ditrinco to Editor

Boulder, Colo. – SKI, the largest and most recognized ski publication in the world, announces the promotion of Greg Ditrinco to editor. He looks to expand the brand in Europe with a new North American Resort Guide, along with an emphasis on additional gear and travel coverage.

"No one has more knowledge of skiing, ski resorts and mountain towns than Greg," says Tom James, editorial director of Bonnier Corp.'s Enthusiast Group. "Greg brings a world-class track record in covering the topics SKI readers expect from the premier on-snow brand in publishing."

Ditrinco has worked for SKI for 12 years, the past five as executive editor. Prior to his tenure at SKI, he was the editor of the Aspen Daily News, then joined the New York Times Magazine Group as a senior editor at Snow Country magazine in Connecticut.

"SKI is the most respected and best-read snow publication in the world," Ditrinco says. "We'll continue to provide our readers with the finest stories and cutting-edge advice on how to get the most out of their ski day and the mountain lifestyle."

A graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont, Ditrinco ski bummed in Sun Valley, Idaho, for several years immediately after college. He attended business and journalism graduate schools at Boston University before moving to Aspen, Colo. He presently lives in Boulder with his wife and two young children, who are both learning how to ski.

Founded in 1936, SKI is published seven times a year by Bonnier Corp. and is the authority on resorts, equipment and instruction. SKI's editors and award-winning contributors are the experts in their fields, as they pursue their passion on the world's greatest slopes.
