Bonnier Names Sean Holzman Chief Brand Development Officer

New York, N.Y. — Bonnier Corp. CEO Terry Snow has announced the hiring of Sean Holzman to the newly created position of Chief Brand Development Officer. His primary responsibility is the licensing of the company's brands, editorial, video, mobile and television products and developing new revenue streams. He joins Bonnier from Source Interlink Media, where he served as President of the Enterprises Division.

"Bonnier is a rapidly growing company that has a broad portfolio of assets and a strong management team. That's key," said Holzman. "There's huge potential to actively develop seamless licensing programs for the Bonnier brands and keep them at the forefront of emerging platforms."

Holzman brings Bonnier more than a decade's experience aggressively securing new revenue and growth channels. At Source Interlink Media, Holzman oversaw business development, licensing, new media and television across all of Source Interlink Media's properties, driving growth, brand equity and customer connections for its titles beyond the traditional newsstand.

Holzman held various senior positions during his tenure at Source Interlink Media. He joined the company in 2000 as senior director, licensing sales, overseeing sales for the extensive portfolio of automotive and outdoor brands of Primedia (later purchased by Source Interlink). Holzman next served as vice president of Primedia Enterprises, the company's business development arm, and then senior vice president of sales, marketing and retail development. In this position, he secured licensing deals and forged creative partnerships, retail programs and new content plays for popular enthusiast brands such as Surfer, Hot Rod and Motor Trend. Prior to Source Interlink Media, Holzman held management and sales positions at WindChaser Products and Paramount Pictures Domestic Television.
