Bonnier Names Dave Freygang SVP of Newly Formed Special Interest Division
January 11, 2011 New York, N.Y. — Bonnier Corp. CEO Terry Snow announced today Dave Freygang has been promoted to Senior Vice President of the company's newly formed Special Interest Division. This group combines nearly 40 brands in several business units: TransWorld, Travel, Water Sports and Marine/Aviation. Top brands include TransWorld SKATEboarding, Islands, Scuba Diving and Boating.
Most recently, Freygang served as Vice President, Publishing for the TransWorld and Water Sports titles. He also played a major role in acquisitions and new launches, as well as introducing digital and new event businesses to nearly every brand. Prior to his publishing tenure, he served as Chief Financial Officer in the '90s. "Each of these brands has a tremendous opportunity to better connect with their marketing partners and audiences in the rapidly evolving media landscape," Freygang said.
