Bonnier Digital Formed — Bruno Sousa to Head


Winter Park, FL – Bruno Sousa has joined Bonnier Corp. as the senior vice president of the newly created Bonnier Digital unit. In an effort to capitalize on the growing need to further monetize digital efforts and expand the field of potential clients, Bonnier Digital will focus on all facets of our digital businesses.

Sousa will help Bonnier Corp. and its operating units develop and build financial plans to launch new digital initiatives. In areas including social couponing, video channels like YouTube, ecommerce and other branded and nonbranded businesses leveraging the knowledge of our markets, he will help shape and implement these strategies.

He joins Bonnier after starting his career at IBM Global Services, where he consulted with Fortune 500 organizations. During his 10-year tenure with IBM, Bruno and his teams developed and implemented several complex initiatives totaling over 1 billion dollars in new revenue. Most recently, he served as VP of Business Solutions at Smart City, where he was responsible for all business and technology strategy for the organization and its key customers (including the Walt Disney World Co. and Florida Hospital).
