Bonnier Corp.’s Spa Magazine Refreshes Its Design
February 11, 2009
"Our goal for the redesign was not a complete overhaul, but rather a freshening up," said Victor Maze, Art Director for Spa. "We wanted to make the design more modern, reader-friendly and fun, without changing the relaxing and inspiring essence that is Spa." Some of Spa's new columns include: Spa Talk, a forum for reader questions and issue feedback; guides to low-season steals; DIY beauty recipes; Home; a step-by-step exercise of the month in the Fitness section; and Mind & Spirit. "Reading an issue is like visiting a spa," said Julie Sinclair, Editor-in-Chief of Spa. "By the time you're done, you will feel more relaxed, your senses will have been soothed by the beautiful images and graphics, and you will leave armed with knowledge that you can use every day to stay balanced." The "freshened" look of Spa includes: Spa magazine is your personal connection to the beauty, health and wellness secrets of the hottest spas. Spa is published by Bonnier Corp., one of the largest consumer publishing groups in America and the leading media company serving passionate, highly engaged audiences, through more than 40 special-interest magazines and associated websites, television properties and events. |
