Bonnier Corp. Names New Vice President of E-Media, New Senior Director

Allman has more than 15 years' experience in launching, building and managing new ventures in interactive media, including senior positions at Discovery.com and U.S. News & World Report Online. While at Discovery, Allman headed the strategic planning for content creation, advertising, marketing and technology for 15 websites, including the Discovery Channel, the Learning Channel and the Travel Channel. For the past three years, Allman has been General Manager and Chief Content/Creative Officer for The HealthCentral Network.com, one of the largest health/lifestyle properties on the web. New York, NY – Bonnier Corp. CEO Terry Snow announced today the hiring of two key executives who will help execute the company's e-media strategies and collaborate on shaping its interactive media vision. Bill Allman joins Bonnier Corp. as Vice President of E-media, and Bill Crosby has joined the company as Senior Director, Digital Product Development.
Crosby, as Senior Director, will focus on Web development for the Florida-based brands and will work across all brands on implementation of new initiatives. He has an impressive background working for Scripps Networks and HGTV, where he formulated the strategy for, built and then deployed the company's first non-TV channel, a video-centric website that within months of launch became an award-winning category leader using cutting-edge technology. Crosby was promoted from his position at HGTV to Scripps Senior Vice President of Broadband, heading all broadband initiatives across all company websites. Crosby will report to Allman.
