Bonnier Boosts Digital Subscription Offerings on the iPad with Popular Photography


Bonnier Corp. has announced it will begin offering consumers the option to purchase an annual subscription for Popular Photography on iPad with a single tap inside the app using In-App Purchase. Bonnier was one of the first publishers to take advantage of Apple's new subscription service when it launched last February, bringing annual subscriptions to Popular Science.

Popular Photography is launching its subscription service on iPad with a limited-time sale price of $14.99 per year for 12 issues. Subscribers will receive a notification every month that the new issue is available for download, and the subscription will automatically renew annually unless the customer chooses to cancel. The standard rate for a yearly subscription will be $19.99. Single copies of the magazine—which have been available for iPad since October 2010— remain priced at $4.99 each.
