Q: From where can I download apps? A: You can download the FREE app from the Apple App Store: http://itunes.com/search

Q: What is included with the free app downloaded from the Apple App Store? A: This app gives you the ability to download a free sample issue and purchase, store, and read digital issues through iTunes. You can store as many digital issues as you'd like within the same app.

Q: If I am a paid print subscriber, am I entitled to free digital access as well? A: At this time a digital subscription/ iPad access does not come with your paid print subscription. We are evaluating this and hope to have new options available to print subscribers which will include bundled print and digital subscriptions, as well as opportunities to add digital to your print subscription at a discounted price. We appreciate your patience as we work to enable these features.

Q: How do I get an issue in the app? A: The sample issue is free to download. You can purchase annual subscriptions, monthly subscriptions, or download single digital issues within the app.

Q: What is included with the digital issue purchase? A: The full cover-to-cover version of the magazine including all advertisements, high resolution images with pinch & zoom, social sharing features, enhanced covers, enhanced tables of contents and in some cases enhanced advertisements with videos, hyperlinks, and special features.

Q: Can I buy a new issue within the current app? A: Yes, in-app purchasing is available. Once you have downloaded the app, you can purchase new issues and store them in the in-app library.

Q: How do I know when a new digital issue is available? A: You can opt-in to receive a notification when each new issue becomes available. To do this, tap on your iPad settings, and then tap on "Notifications." Tap on the app and set Alerts to "On." In order to read the new issue, you must purchase a single copy within the app or have a current monthly or annual subscription.

Q: Why won't my issue download? A: It may take longer to download depending on your Wi-Fi Internet connection. We recommend not using 3G connections. For best results, keep the app open while downloading your issue. If you switch to another app the download will be paused. If this happens, the download will continue from where it left off. Also, if the Internet connection is lost, the download will need to be started over. If you started a download that was purchased in the App Store and it fails for some reason or you cancel it, you can restart the download by going to the Store tab and tapping the button on the issue. Q: How do I delete an issue? A: Perform a tap and long hold on the cover of the issue you wish to remove. A menu will appear. Select "Remove from iPad". To re-download a previously deleted issue, open the app and tap on the store tab. Find the issue you'd like to re-download and tap the DOWNLOAD button.

Q: Will deleting an issue free up storage space on my iPad? A: Yes. You can access it again at any time by re-downloading the issue, free of charge.

Q: Does the digital issue expire? A: No. Once you purchase the issue, it's yours to keep.

Q: Can I share the digital issue with friends? A: Currently, there are two sharing options available. You can share the app with friends via Facebook or email.

Q: How can I turn off auto-renewal? A: Please visit http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4098 for detailed instructions on how to manage your subscription and/or turn off auto-renewal.

While we can’t respond to every e-mail, we will be reading every comment and doing our best to address any concerns and ideas you have about our iPad app.

Troubleshooting Measures: (Please note that all troubleshooting measures can be used for both your iPad and iPhone)

1. You can manage your subscription by following directions in this link from Apple's support website. (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4098).

2. Once you have verified your subscription is current and valid with Apple, navigate to "Manage Purchases" in the app by tapping on the gear icon in the top-right of the menu bar. This should list the subscription receipts. If your subscription is not listed here, tap the "Restore All" button on the top-left of the window.

3. If your subscription does appear under Manage Purchases and no issues in the app have a "Download" button next to them, delete the app completely from your device and download a fresh copy from the App Store.

4. Make sure you are on the most current iOS operating system. You can check this in Settings, then press About. Your Version should be 5.0.1 or above. Upgrade your iOS (if necessary) by connecting your device to your pc/Mac and then follow the instructions in iTunes to update the software.

5. Re-verify that you have the latest version of the magazine reader app. You can check this by tapping App Store and then selecting the Updates tab to check for app updates. If none are listed, then you are using the most recent version of the app.

6. If you had to upgrade the version of your app, repeat point 2 above.

7. If you are trying to view your subscription on multiple devices, please follow the instructions under section 2 to restore your subscription to the new device. When restoring, please make sure to use the correct Apple ID and Password on the device is the one you used to initially purchase your subscription. To check, please tap Settings on the device- next tap the App Store Icon- next make sure the APPLE ID is the one you used to purchase the subscription initially. If not, signout and back in with the correct one.
