Saveur Named Bonnier Corp.’s “Brand of the Year”

New York, N.Y. — Saveur has been named Brand of the Year in the inaugural Bonnier Excellence Awards. This new awards program recognizes the company’s best in content, design, sales, program development, customer service and overall excellence. Winners were announced at an awards ceremony gala at the Orlando Museum of Art in Florida last night. Saveur, led by Publisher Kristin Cohen and Editor-in-Chief James Oseland, performed exceedingly well, growing 36 percent year over year — including more than 11 percent in ad pages — and bringing in 90 new advertisers. On the editorial front, it had another stellar year — winning numerous awards including the epicurean title’s sixth ASME award.

Bonnier Promotes Elizabeth Burnham Murphy to Chief Marketing Officer

New York, N.Y. — Already the dominant media publisher for the dive market here in the United States, Bonnier Corp. is further expanding its reach overseas by acquiring Sport Diver UK and pairing it with its own Sport Diver brand.
