Bonnier Corp. has announced the promotion of Greg Ditrinco to editorial director of Bonnier’s mountain titles, which include its flagship brands of SKI, Skiing and Warren Miller’s Snoworld. He also will continue as brand director for SKI.

Boulder, Colo. — In her first major move since being named VP, publishing for Bonnier’s mountain titles, Merri Lee Kingsly has selected two longtime ski-industry insiders to lead her team. Ben Rifkin, an accomplished skier with business experience in resorts, tourism and media, has been named associate publisher of SKI, Skiing and SNOW, and Johnny Alamo, with more than 10 years selling the sport since ending his competitive skiing career, has been promoted to the newly created position of executive director of sponsorships for Warren Miller Entertainment and NASTAR.
Golden Moment for Bonnier’s Warren Miller at Olympics

Boulder, CO - If you were one of the millions who watched the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics, the first action you saw was from Bonnier Corp.’s Warren Miller Entertainment. The three-minute video that kicked off the ceremonies was produced by Bonnier’s acclaimed film division. The high-energy action footage featured Johnny Lyall hitting the slopes to set up the 23-year-old snowboarder’s live stadium stunt, welcoming the crowd to the 2010 Games. Nearly 68 million U.S. viewers tuned in to the most-watched opening ceremony ever for a non-U.S. Winter Olympics.
